Sandy Shell Cottage was a great value for money, with a stylish and high-quality interior. The location was perfect, quietly tucked away but only a short walk to the center and attractions. The staff were thoughtful, providing a supply of food on arrival and making the cottage dog-friendly.
The one thing that could make the morning meal better would be to have more outdoor seating space. The description on the website was a bit misleading, as the depicted outside area actually belonged to the neighboring cottage.

The thoughtful gift of fresh bread, scones, milk, and butter was a lovely touch. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and even arranged perfect weather for our stay. We definitely plan to return and will highly recommend it to family and friends.
The hotel breakfast menu could benefit from a wider selection.

The location of the cottage was great, it was really close to all the attractions and within walking distance to everything. The cottage itself was clean and cozy, and had everything we needed for our stay. The hosts had thought about all the little details and provided a lovely welcome pack with some food, which was a nice touch. Plus, having a parking spot was really convenient.
The description on the website was a bit misleading. It showed a small outside area, but it actually belonged to the neighboring cottage.

The welcome pack upon arrival was a nice touch, with milk, bread, butter, and Welsh cakes provided. The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the surrounding areas of North Wales. It was centrally located, making it easy to walk to local attractions and amenities. the cottage had a well-appointed kitchen with all the necessary utensils for cooking a homemade meal.
One minor gripe was that the heated towel rail in the bathroom was not working, which made the bathroom a bit chilly in November. The parking space provided was a bit tight, especially for larger vehicles like SUVs.
