The cottage is ideally situated in the heart of a charming village, making it easy to explore the local attractions on foot. the kitchen is well-appointed and equipped with all necessary utensils for cooking. the bedrooms are spacious and the beds are extremely comfortable. the hosts are kind and helpful, providing thoughtful touches such as a welcoming pack and a bottle of milk in the fridge.

The parking space outside the cottage might be tight for larger vehicles.

Sandy Shell Cottage exceeded our expectations in every way. The decor was beautiful, the room was clean and fresh, and the location was brilliant, with everything we needed close by. The thoughtful gift of fresh bread, scones, milk, and butter was a lovely touch. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and even arranged perfect weather for our stay. We definitely plan to return and will highly recommend it to family and friends.

The hotel breakfast menu could benefit from a wider selection.

The location of the cottage was great, it was really close to all the attractions and within walking distance to everything. The cottage itself was clean and cozy, and had everything we needed for our stay. The hosts had thought about all the little details and provided a lovely welcome pack with some food, which was a nice touch. Plus, having a parking spot was really convenient.

The description on the website was a bit misleading. It showed a small outside area, but it actually belonged to the neighboring cottage.

The welcome pack upon arrival was a nice touch, with milk, bread, butter, and Welsh cakes provided. The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the surrounding areas of North Wales. It was centrally located, making it easy to walk to local attractions and amenities. the cottage had a well-appointed kitchen with all the necessary utensils for cooking a homemade meal.

One minor gripe was that the heated towel rail in the bathroom was not working, which made the bathroom a bit chilly in November. The parking space provided was a bit tight, especially for larger vehicles like SUVs.
